Horses have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. When I was 8, I was finally allowed to start taking riding lessons, and I have never looked back since. I was not the average norwegian rider who had their parent full support. I had to do my own finances, and if I was lucky enough, I would get one riding lesson each year.

I had my fair share of lease horses, from Trotters, Norwegian Fjords and Haflingers to American Paint, mixed breeds and finally ending on the Icelandic horse. My biggest interest in horses was show jumping, but after getting a taste of the gaited wonders that the Icelandic horses provide, I have simply stayed with gaited.

Of course, liberty, free riding and trick training is a big part my life with horses. Everything I know is self taught through exploring the internet and simply learning from the horse’s natural behavior.
